Varsity Badminton

After some very exciting matches and some nail clinching action, The WAB Badminton team wins the FIRST ever Boys Team Championship! This is a well deserved accomplishment by some dedicated athletes who not only train themselves but have took the time and have built a  program.  Most of the top players on the team have worked hard to make the badminton team what it is today.

Over the weekend approximately 100 boys and 60 girls from Beijing and Tianjin participated in the 2010 ISAC Badminton Tournament. Many games were played this weekend with most players playing over 20 sets each! There were a wide variety of different playing levels but all played a good standard of badminton. There were a lot of close games and sportsmanship displayed. All players should be proud of the way they represented WAB this weekend.

Over 500 Matches were played the weekend, and we had 4 teams competing in this year's China Cup Badminton tournament. This was a great experience for our young teams and a great opportunity to see and meet other students from ISB, SAS Puxi and HKIS.
