WABX: ATHLETICS & ACTIVITIES

Table Tennis is a sport within the Olympic Dream Series that is offered to Grade 3, 4 and 5 students. To earn the “I did it” band for this sport, students must come to the gym five times. During this event, students have an opportunity to develop their table tennis skills while hitting with other students within the same grade level. Grade 4 and 5 students may choose to play in a competition whereby a knockout format is used to determine the gold, silver and bronze medal winners. There are separate boys and girls divisions for Grade 4 and Grade 5. All Grade 3 students and any Grade 4 and 5 students not wishing to play in the competition have an opportunity to hit with other students during this time so they are eligible to earn the “I did it” band.
