The Biathlon at WAB is a race that combines a swim and a run. It is an event included in the Olympic Dream Series for students in Grades 2 – 5. To earn the “I did it” Biathlon band, students have to complete the swim and the run on the day that is specific to their grade level. Students will swim a set distance in the pool and run around Tiger Field. The first three boys and the first three girls in each grade will be awarded gold, silver and bronze medals at a presentation after the race. All events will be run during the lunch hour, starting at the WAB pool.
