Our WAB Tiger student-athletes have taken a big bite into our opponents, as we returned to competition in Season 1.
A week after finishing ISAC competitions with multiple first-place finishes and positive experiences, the Tigers jumped back into competition and proved they weren’t one-hit wonders.
With 22 different teams competing on one weekend in late October, our students represented the Tiger stripes well. While victorious results are nice to have, they are only a small piece of the evidence that demonstrates our students' growth as athletes and as people. WAB athletes continue to develop and compete respectfully.
Grade 12 student Alex Atherton is the only returning member of the Varsity Volleyball team who played on the last Asia Pacific Activities Conference (APAC) team in October 2019, which was the last time APAC hosted international school tournaments before the pandemic.
"After two years of focusing of development and skill, I was happy to be a part of an amazing team that could bring together all the improvement for a successful season," Alex said. "Getting the opportunity to get back on the court and feel the energy of a game was a highlight of my senior year. This season is one I’ll never forget."

- 4 wins during pool play games
- Cup final (for 1st and 2nd) - loss to Invictus. The score was 5-4
- Finished 2nd overall
Rugby WAB 2
- 1 win vs ISB - Score 6-4 and 3 losses in pool play
- Shield final (for 7th vs 8th) - loss. The score was 5-0
- Finished 8th overall
